In 2024, artists Ayo, Ratri Notosudirdjo and Sandim Mendes were invited to conduct research into the historical museum collection of the Leidsche Katoenmaatschappij (LKM).

The sample and recipe books, textile objects and archives of this textile factory

form the basis of the TextielMuseum's collection. From a decolonial perspective, the artists created installations that break through these colonial silences.

In 2027, the three installations will be exhibited together in the Textile Museum.
